ORADELL, N.J. -- William Scanno, of Oradell, died Dec. 1. He was 62.
He worked for more than 20 years in the commodities field at Brody White & Co. in New York and ended his career there as vice president. He loved carpentry and spending his free time perfecting his cooking skills.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne (nee) Bernardo; children, Noelle Scanno and Kevin Williams; parents, Rose and the late Danny Scanno; and brother, Guy Scanno and his wife Lori.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at a memorial Mass at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's RC Church, Oradell.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be greatly appreciated.
